God is still the God of miracles, and what He's done before He can do again if you need it and have faith for it! "Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever!" (Heb.13:8)
Do you know what the word "miracle" means? It comes from the Latin root word meaning "to look at", something that makes people look and pay attention! The purpose of miracles is to attract attention to the Message! God often uses healing and miracles to get a crowd for the sake of publicity so they can hear the message and believe it!
--Like when Peter and John met the lame man at the Temple gate, God picked somebody that everybody in town knew was lame and a beggar. A great miracle happened and the man was healed and all the people were filled with wonder!--They were wondering what was going on, and Peter was ready to tell them!--He took advantage of the opportunity to witness and preach the Gospel, and as a result 5,000 souls were saved! (Acts 3)
As long as you can say, "The Love of Christ constraineth me!" (2Cor.5:14), if that's your motivation, then He will thrill and inspire you and confirm your witness and establish it with signs following--signs and wonders and miracles! (Mk.16:17,18,20)
